I hope that this finds you well?

Isn't this a wonderful time of the year? I just love autumn, the changing leaves and the colours.... oh.... they're just so beautiful! I can start to think about getting my boots out of the cupboard and wearing thicker jumpers (I can feel the change of temperature in my studio now). I have always associated this season with learning, I guess it harks back to my school days, a new academic year meant a new pencil case, freshly sharpened pencils and art supplies. I've never quite shaken the feeling autumn brings for new stationery! 

With this in mind I've re-written all my workshop descriptions and uploaded new photographs of them. There is a full list on my workshop page here. I've got a good selection of both machine and hand sewing classes, 1 and 2 day workhops, Christmas themed projects and paper related workshops, both bookbinding and journal/sketchbook keeping. Levels are suitable for beginners and more experienced makers. I've hopefully got something for everyone so please take a look and do let me know what you think, I'd love to hear from you.

As promised here is an updated list of public workshops I'm leading this year at various venues in Cornwall. Please contact the venue direct if you're interested in coming along. All have fantastic websites and friendly staff if speaking to a human is more your thing. All workshops will have a requirements list that you will be given once you've booked a place.

June 19^th – Cheerful Brooches – Sewing Studio, Redruth

July 24^th – Christmas Themed Workshop to be announced – Sewing Studio

September 1^st & 8^th – Cornish Cottages, (2 day workshop), Coast & Country crafts and quilts, Barras Moor

September 14^th & 15^th - Cornish Cottages, (2 day workshop) Cowslip Workshops, Launceston

October 23^rd – Christmas Pictures – Sewing Studio, Redruth

November 6^th – Christmas Decorations – Sewing Studio, Redruth

November 16^th & 17^th – Cowslip Christmas Craft Fair, Launceston. A lovely way to kick start the festive season and your Christmas shopping at Cowslip Farm. Soak up the atmosphere, take in the fairy lights and buy your Christmas gifts straight from the makers.

I also run private classes from my home studio for up to four people, ideal for those wishing to learn on a more one-to-one basis amongst my artwork and resources.
