Commissioning Art Work

I love noticing the small details; a porthole window or brightly painted door, a golden post box or ornate railing, the loops of a handwritten letter or embroidered handkerchief. Capturing these little things in pictures gives me great joy.

Art work is commissioned from me for lots of different reasons, birthdays, anniversaries, new homes, in memory of a loved one or just because!

They may be a view from a favourite place, a house or cottage, a seaside vista, harbour or countryside landscape.

It could be a one off bespoke artwork that uses treasured pieces of fabric, such as lace from wedding or christening dresses, paper ephemera such as handwritten recipes, bits and bobs collected in tins and all incorporated into a piece of work to commemorate an occasion or honour a loved one.
